About Inverter Error Codes

When a solar inverter throws an error code, the owner is usually standing in front of it, on their phone, with the system down, and the only "help" online is a 60-page PDF manual or a scattered forum thread. We built this site to be the clear, fast, mobile-first answer instead.

What we do

We maintain plain-English guides for solar inverter fault codes, one code at a time. Every guide tells you three things up front: what the code means, how urgent it is, and the safe steps to take, including an honest "stop here and call a professional" line whenever safety is involved.

How we research and review

Each guide is built from the manufacturer's own documentation (user manuals and fault-code tables) and cross-checked against field experience and reputable technical references. We list our sources on every page. Codes change between models and firmware versions, so we date our pages and update them as we learn more.

Who's behind it

This site is run by Bruno Teles, an energy and industry journalist who has published thousands of articles on oil, gas, power, and technology for energy-sector publications, including CPG Click Petróleo e Gás. Writing about the energy world every day is what drives this site: turning dense manufacturer documentation into clear, accurate, plain-English answers for solar inverter owners.

To be honest and clear: Bruno is a journalist and researcher, not a licensed electrician. That is exactly why every guide here is built from official manufacturer sources, cites them, and always points you to a qualified professional for any hands-on electrical work.

Our promise on safety

We will never tell you to open your inverter, touch DC wiring, or do anything that needs a qualified electrician. Our steps are external and switch-level. See our full safety disclaimer.

Independence

We're an independent reference and are not affiliated with Deye or any inverter manufacturer. Brand names are used only to identify the equipment a guide applies to.
